The Mile Highlanders formed in 2005 at a local Denver pub, with the goal of providing a musical alternative to the normal bagpipe band scene.
We continue this tradition by selecting unique tunes with our own custom arrangements and including unusual instruments not normally heard in a bagpipe setting.
You might be surprised to hear an Elvis tune, or a Pink Floyd classic, thrown in with some traditional sets. Also, the drummers might just bust-out a Djembe, or some custom built percussion.
